Strowbridge sticks Joey with a co-host on The Ranger Joe Show, and his new co-host is Jungle Jenny, who is Mr. At the radio station, Jesse arrives to talk to program director Julie Hartman about the job, and just before Julie calls him into the broadcasting room, Joey shows up to support Jesse.
The laughter continues in season six of this family comedy series, but not before pulling a few heartstrings first. finds a boyfriend in Steve (new series star Scott Weingar). She neglects her schoolwork and family responsibilities.
Danny tries making his long-distance relationship with Vicky (guest star Gail Edwards) work, and Michelle learns that when her best friend Teddy (guest star Tahj Mowry – Baby Daddy) moves away, she can’t tie him to a chair to keep him close. Danny is shocked to find his daughter so involved at her age, and Stephanie and Michelle hope their sister will still have time for them. But he learns to understand her feelings of love for Steve when he realizes he loves Vicky. All three resolve their problems in the Christmas spirit.

Rebecca also has to deal with Jesse's recent climb to stardom as he tours Japan with his band for the first half of the season, in the second half of the season, he returns to high school to get his diploma. Jesse's song "Forever" is number 1 on the music charts—in Japan; but the pleasures of Jesse's stardom affect Becky in a negative way, and Jesse gets offered a year-long tour across the Pacific. Jesse and Joey are offered jobs as afternoon radio DJs, but when Joey makes jokes about Jesse, they start arguing with each other. Strowbridge's wife as a partner, and Stephanie's short story has characters that are closely related to D. Becky's rich cousins, Dick and Donna Donaldson, come to visit with their twin daughters, and are going to enter them in a local "Best Twins" contest.
